Dreamline Starphire Mahalo
"Kala"

Kala is co owned with Nancy Ager of Starphire Shelties. Nancy is a dear friend and has been a wonderful mentor. Kala is a very special girl for so many reasons. Kala is Dreamline's first Bred By show hopeful. Also, there is a bit of sentimental value behind this little girl. Kala's mother was a Jade Mist Memorandum daughter that was co owned by Nancy and I, that was left to me from a dear friend of ours and another wonderful mentor to me, Carole Hendrickson of Carlyn Shelties. Carole lost her long battle to cancer on July 7, 2006. She wanted me and Nancy to breed her girl because of her nice pedigree and did not want that to go to waist. In tribute to Carole, Nancy and I decided on the registered name Dreamline Starphire Mahalo. Mahalo means "Thank you" in Hawaiian. Kala's father is Ch Aletian Wistwin Comic Relief who was bought from a breeder in Hawaii and brought back to Georgia by Jean Adair and Mary Mahaffey of Redfield Shelties.
